The Comprehensive Plan for the Lower Part of Tarragona, drafted by TerritorisXLM and BCQ arquitectura barcelona, has been Finalist in the Architectural Heritage Intervention European Prizes in the Planning category. The Jury’s decision was announced yesterday June 5 at the ceremony of the biennial competition organized jointly with the College of Architects of Catalonia.
The Tarragona PIPB contemplates 25 improvement actions articulated in the urban, commercial, social and cultural fields, following the main objectives of Live in the neighborhood, Coexist with it, Enjoy it and Activate it. To this end, it was proposed to carry out actions such as the reform of the Real and Apodaca streets and the creation of cultural facilities.
